Have you heard of tree swallows but haven't seen them?Tree swallows are amazing animals that eat mosquitoes and other bugs.Unlike other birds, they have beautiful plumage and pleasant calls.It's well worth the effort to get these birds.It will work for other swallows, like the Violet-Green swallow.
Step 1: Make sure tree swallows are present in your area.
Most of the United States and much of Canada have tree swallows.They migrate into Mexico during the winter.There are online maps that show the range of swallows.It's pointless trying to attract them when you don't know if they are there.Make sure you use reliable maps for your research.
Step 2: Look at the kind of area you live in.
Tree swallows need an open space to live in since they spend most of their time flying and catching bugs.Too many trees can make it hard for Tree swallows to swoop low.Grassy, open land is ideal for birds.There are places with open freshwater where tree swallows live.
Step 3: Don't use pesticides or insecticides in your area.
