How To Be a Sikh

The Sikh faith is a monotheistic one.It was founded by a guru. The Sikh faith is the fifth largest religion in the world with 26 million followers. The Sikh prayer says that there is one all pervading spirit and it is called truth. It is timeless and self-existent, and it exists in all creation.Seeking knowledge and learning will bring you to know it.Sikhs are to lead moral lives, earn their living through hard work and honest means, and to share with others through charitable contributions and work.A Sikh looks for God through his actions rather than taking himself out of society.

It is difficult to know but not impossible that there is only one all pervading spirit that is formless and timeless.Sikhs place emphasis on meditation to understand Akal because it is only realized through self knowledge.Sikhs want to become one with Akal in order to end the cycle of birth and death.

They are ego, anger, greed, lust and attachment. The ultimate goal of Sikhs is to union with God.If you want to lead a good life, you must avoid the five distraction.

He taught that devotion to Akal is the only way to achieve union.rite, pilgrimages, and asceticism are meaningless and should not come as a surprise to anyone.Sikhs should try to balance their work, charity and worship.Sikhs have a positive view of life. They believe that they should defend the rights of others. They should not support stereotypes that support inequality.

Step 11: Don't give money to charity.

Sikhs balance charity with their work and worship. The belief in defending others from poverty is a part of the Sikh faith.

Step 12: There are ritual recitations.
