How To Become Popular in School

People want to be popular.Popularity isn't synonymous with being fake, judgmental, or exclusive.Popular individuals are respected and admired.Being true to yourself, inclusive of others, and involved in your community can help you become popular.

Step 1: Why do you want to be popular?

Before you devote your time, effort, and resources to becoming cool, take a moment to evaluate your desire to be popular.Are you looking for acceptance?Do you want attention?Are you trying to change yourself?You may never become popular in society if you try to be well-liked.If you don't become popular, what will happen?How can you deal with not being able to fulfill this desire?As you try to discover your authentic self, what other outlets could you check out?

Step 2: It's important to be true to yourself.

You don't have to completely change yourself in order to become popular.The most compassionate, spunky, authentic you are the best version of yourself.Your confidence will grow as you become self aware.You will become more interesting.People will be drawn to you because of your social anxiety.Discover who you are and what you believe in.Don't try to fit in or get people to like you.

Step 3: Stand up for your beliefs.

In exchange for popularity, never compromise your personal beliefs and opinions.Openly embrace your beliefs and love.Don't follow the trends that a celebrity wears because you like them.You can start new trends instead of following old ones.

Step 4: Be humble.

Don't underestimate the power of humility.Lighten up and live a little because people that take themselves too seriously are difficult to be around.It's not attractive to brag about your accomplishments, money, or things.Accept the compliment when they do.Don't be afraid to laugh at yourself when you make a mistake.Don't broadcast your achievement when you do something great for another person.Don't rub the new item in others' faces when you get it.

Step 5: Care about your appearance.

One of the easiest ways to improve your social prospects is to take pride in your appearance.It is possible to become popular without wearing expensive or trendy clothes.Put thought into your outfits, hair, and personal hygiene if you want to look presentable all the time.Try to develop your own eclectic sense of style.If you follow the school dress code, you don't want to get in trouble and be seen as a bad person.

Step 6: You should expand your social circle.

People who are popular are known by everyone.You need to broaden your circle in order to increase your popularity.Go out of your way to meet new people and join new clubs at school.Say hi to everyone you meet.Have lunch with someone new.

Step 7: Don't judge or bully others.

A kind, compassionate person wins over more friends than a nasty, unconfident person.Don't judge people, but always defend them.Be friendly with others but don't bully them.You don't want friends that are only friends with you because you'll bully them.People outside of your group should be treated with kindness.You won't get many friends beyond the group if you are a group that despises outsiders.Work to earn the respect and friendship of outsiders.

Step 8: Help others.

Helping others achieve their goals is an excellent way to develop a positive reputation.If you want attention or want to be the best, set it aside.Encourage and help those around you as they try to succeed.Your compassion will make others happy.Offer to help someone with their work.Stay after practice to work out with a teammate.Congratulate others.

Step 9: You have to deal with people that don't like you.

Bullies, haters, negative and unkind people will always be present in your life whether you are popular or not.You may know them or they may be completely new to you.If you want to lead a healthy life and live as authentic as possible, you need to deal with people who don't like you.Toxic people should be removed from your environment.It's time to stop spending time with a negative friend.Stand up for yourself.Let the person know that you don't like their treatment of you.Don't take it personally.It's not a reflection on you, but on the bully.They are the problem.You should be friends with someone who is kind and funny, not because they are popular.

Step 10: To try new things, say yes.

It is an excellent way to develop self-confidence and meet new people.Don't be afraid to say "yes" when someone asks you to try something new, immerse yourself in the opportunity to expand your horizonsDon't say yes to things that can hurt or affect you.You might discover a new hobby or friendship along the way.Try a new restaurant.Sign up for a class.You can learn how to play an instrument.

Step 11: Attend parties.

You can increase your popularity by going to sporting events and parties.You can interact with others in a more intimate environment at these events.People are at a tailgate.Get to know your co-workers at a holiday party.

Step 12: You can join a club or sports team.

Increasing your social circle and popularity by participating in extracurricular activities is a wonderful way to do this.You will form bonds with other members.Those around you will notice your accomplishments.You can try out for a musical.You can join the debate team.Run for student council.
