How to bleed the fuel system on a Cummins diesel B series engine.

Bleeding fuel system on a QSB 5.9 is a Cummins Marine Diesel Repower Specialists.

I am new to diesels and have a hard time figuring out where to bleed air after a secondary filter change. You have to engage the electric lift pump by cycling the key because there is not a manual pump.Does this mean turning the key between on and off, or does it mean engaging the starter?

Remove the screw, put a rag over it and cycle the key until it gets messy.Until it leaks good, cycle the key.Give the engine 100% power. When it tries to start up again.

You should report back so you can help others. The "Cummins way" will kill your battery or burn out your starter.

Is it possible that I only turn the key from off to on on each cycle?I understand that I am engaging the starter on the last step.
