You can learn how to prevent incoming messages from a specific sender to your Yahoo Mail account.You can't block a sender from the mobile Yahoo Mail app, but you can use the Yahoo website to do this.While blocking a sender prevents them from contacting you using the blocked email address, they will often use multiple disposable email addresses which makes blocking them less viable than a human being.
Step 1: You can open Yahoo Mail.
You can find it in your computer's web browser.If you are a member of Yahoo, this will open your inbox.When prompted, enter your email address and password.
Step 2: Click on settings.
The inbox is in the top-right corner.A menu will appear.Click the blue button on the left side of the page to make sure you're using the updated Yahoo Mail interface.
Step 3: Click more settings.
The option is at the bottom of the menu.The settings page opens if you do that.
Step 4: You can click security and privacy.
There is a tab on the left side of the page.
Step 5: Click and add.
The "Blocked addresses" option can be found to the right of the "Security and privacy" column.
Step 6: An email address can be entered.
You can use the full email address of the person you want to block.
Step 7: Click to save.
There is a button below the text box.If you add the sender to your blocked email addresses, they will be added to the Spam folder.
