Pure Dragons were rare in old versions of Dragon City, only obtainable by breeding two Legendary Dragons together and hoping for the right result.This system was turned upside down in the Law and War update.Pure Dragons are purchasable in the store after you reach a certain level, and can be bred together for a small chance at one of the six legendary dragons.Pure Dragons can be used to breed hybrid dragons such as Pure Electric, Pure Dark, and so on.
Step 1: Don't attempt to get this through breeding.
It is not possible to get a 100% Pure Dragon in Dragon City through breeding.They must be purchased from the shop.If you want a challenge, try to breed a dragon.These dragons are the most rare in the game.The method of breeding two pure dragons together gives a moderate chance at a legend.
Step 2: Reach level 34.
Pure Dragon can be seen in the store at this level.If you have gold to spare, you can build a farm and sell it.If you can afford it, the Huge Food Farm is the most bang for your buck.Since you'll need a lot of gold to buy your pure dragon, be careful not to spend too much.
Step 3: Get 15 million gold.
This is how much a Pure Dragon will cost you, in the current version of Dragon city.Try to build and upgrade as many farms as you can.In the long run, this will pay out.
Step 4: The Pure Dragon is for sale.
Purchase your first Pure Dragon from the build menu's dragon store.Many players call this the "Pure Unicorn" due to its horned appearance, but it will be labeled a Pure Dragon.
Step 5: If you want to make a hybrid, you should breed with other single-element dragons.
A hybrid of the two types is the only possible result when breeding a Pure Dragon with another dragon.A Pure and a Dark Dragon breeding will always make a Pure Dark dragon.Two of these are called special names.A "Zen Dragon" and a "KratosDragon" are made by breeding Pure with an Archangel and War.
Step 6: Special dragons can be bred.
There are three special dragons in the game that can be bred from Pure ancestry.If you have a dragon with a Pure element and a Light element in a Sanctuary, you can get a chance at a Core Dragon.Unusual combinations involving Sea elements will work.If you have a dragon with a Pure element and a Flame element in a Sanctuary, you can go to the Basilisk Dragon.
Step 7: For a chance at a legendary, Breed two Pure Dragons.
If two dragons with a Pure element are bred together, there is a chance that one of them will show up.If you want to maximize your chances of getting a legendary dragon, breeding two plain Pure Dragons together is your best bet, since each attempt will take 12 hours of waiting.Other combinations will take longer, and still only have a small chance.You'll end up with another Pure Dragon 94% of the time, that's the downside of this strategy.If you want to get new, exciting dragons, just keep breeding combinations of dragons that both include Pure elements, for example, Kratos Dragon + Pure Dark Dragon.You might end up with a cool new dragon if you don't get a legendary.If you only have one Pure Dragon, you should keep breeding a Pure Flame and Pure Terra Dragon together until you get either a Legendary dragon or a second PureDragon to breed.
