Step 1: Cut the wood to the size you need.

Step 2: Draw a circle on one of the squares with a compass.

The circle should be of the right size for the bird you want to encourage to stay.Cut the circle using a saw.

Step 3: The house should be assembled.

If you can nail it together using wood glue, it will be more durable.

Step 4: Put the floor down and glue 5 pieces together to make a cube.

The square should be at the front of the house.

Step 5: The roof should be put on.

The roof needs to be nailed on to make sure it is secure. It's important that the rain can't get inside.

Step 6: The house should be painted.

Waterproof paint will last for a long time. It's important to check that it isn't harmful to the birds.

Step 7: The birdhouse needs to be hung up.

If you want birds to see it, place it on your porch, out in a tree, or sitting on a bench.

Step 8: Choose a terracotta pot that is large enough for the birds you want to attract.

Assume that the terracotta pot is 160mm in diameter.Depending on the size of your pot, change the measurement from top to bottom.

Step 9: Measure the diameter of the pot from top to bottom.

This is the measurement for your wooden circle.

Step 10: There is a piece of pine wood.

The circle shape can be cut out with a cutting saw.

Step 11: Take 2 inches from the top of the circle to measure it.

The circle size should be sufficient to allow the bird to get out of the hole. The hole needs to be cut out.If you wish to protect the wood, use a non-toxic stain or sealant.Birds are sensitive to many chemicals.

Step 12: Attach the hook to the wooden piece.

This should be placed up from the base of the circle. This is both a perch and a pulling and pushing mechanism for removing and putting back a circle piece.

Step 13: The terracotta pot needs to be screwed to a wall.

The hole in the base of the pot can be used to drill into the wall or post. You need a large bolt or screw for the hole.

Step 14: The birdhouse should be lined with straw.

The circle piece needs to be pushed into place.

Step 15: It was done.

The birdhouse is ready for new residents.Remove the wooden circle from the birdhouse, then replace it with a new one by pushing it back in.

It's a good idea to give it a soapy wash.In a nice bow, tie the shoelaces together neatly.

Step 22: Clean the boot with newspapers or rags.

Stuff from the toe to the sole. This is a good place for the bird to lay her eggs.

Step 23: Attach a hook to the back of the boot.

This should be strong. It is used to attach the boot to the tree.

Step 24: There is a small nail in the trunk.

The birdhouse should be placed at the level you want it to be.You only want to make small marks in the tree. The weight of the boot should be held by the U-shaped nail.Attach the boot birdhouse to the tree's trunk using a flat piece of wood, then attach the wood to a post using nails.

Step 25: Attach the boot to the trunk.

The nail is on the tree.It needs to be sitting firmly.

Step 26: Wait for your bird family to move in.

The boot can last one season or two.Remove the hook and leave it in the garden shed for the winter, then hang it out again next spring.

Thin wire or strong twine can be passed through the holes.Attach the carabiner to the loop
