You can learn how to purchase iBooks on a Mac computer.The Store section of the iBooks app is where you can buy iBooks.The iBook app is pre-installed on your Mac.
Step 1: You can open the Finder.
There is a blue and white face on the bottom of your Mac's dock.You can open a new Finder window to look at the files on your Mac.
Step 2: Click on applications.
The Finder window has a left-side column.You will be able to see all the apps installed on your Mac.
Step 3: Click on the app.
The app looks like a white open book with an orange background.
Step 4: Click the store.
The iBook app window has a button in it.
Step 5: You can search for a book.
The name of a book, publication, or author can be typed into the search bar in the upper-right corner of the window.You can browse the books by clicking the tabs at the top of the window.
Step 6: Click on the book you want to buy.
To see the price and additional information, click the book you want to purchase.
Step 7: You can click the price button.
The price can be found under the cover image of the book on the left side, with the price in place of Xs.
Step 8: You can type your password.
You have to sign in with your Apple ID to purchase a book from iBooks.If you have an Apple account, the default credit or debit card will be charged.Click "Store" in the menu bar at the top to sign out if the wrong Apple ID is signed in.You need to sign in with your Apple ID.Click "Store" at the top of the menu bar to change your payment method.Click "view my apple id"You can enter your new payment information by clicking "Edit" across from "Payment type".
Step 9: Click to make a purchase.
The Apple ID pop-up window is in the lower-right corner.
Step 10: To confirm, click buy.
Your payment method will be charged after this confirmation.You can download the iBook to your account.
