Users can use over 130 languages with the help of Google services.If you want to change the default displayed language for your entire account, you can do so from your account settings.The Gmail app doesn't have the option to change your default language, so you will need a computer to do it.
Step 1: You can open Gmail in a browser.
Step 2: If you don't already have a Gmail account, log into it.
You have to have a preexisting Gmail account in order to do that.
Step 3: Under your picture, click the gear icon.
It can be found in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 4: There is a drop-down menu.
There are three options up from the bottom of the menu.
Step 5: Go to the "Language" tab.
The "General" tab contains the first item.
Step 6: Go to the "Gmail Display Language" bar.
The first bar on the page should show Gmail's current language.
Step 7: The drop-down menu has your preferred language on it.
Make sure your choice is correct.
Step 8: To save your changes, click the "Save Changes" button.
The option is at the bottom of the page.Your default language has been changed.You might have to refresh your browser to see the changes.
Step 9: You can open a browser of your own.
Step 10: Go to "My Account".
The link is provided.You can access your account on Chrome by clicking the three-by-three grid of dots on a new tab, then clicking "My Account".
Step 11: If you haven't already done so, log into your account.
You have to use your default password and email address.
Step 12: "Language & Input Tools" can be found in the "Account Preferences" section.
The Language and Input menu is where this will take you.
Step 13: Under the "Language & Input Tools" heading, click "language."
You can take this to the Language menu.
Step 14: Next to your current language, click the pencil-shaped icon.
You can find a menu with all of the supported languages.At the bottom of the screen, you can add another language.
Step 15: Click "OK" to save your changes after you select your language.
Under your account name, your default language has been changed.You might have to refresh your browser.
