You can learn how to send a message to a friend on TikTok and check your inbox using a mobile device.
Step 1: On your phone, open TikTok.
The icon has a white music note on it.You can find it on the app menu.
Step 2: The icon is on the bottom right.
You will be able to open your profile page with this button.
Step 3: Below is a picture of your profile.
The total number of people you're following is shown on the button.You can open a list of people that you follow.A list of users who follow you can be found next to Following.
Step 4: You can send a message by tapping the user.
You can find the user you want to chat with by tapping their name on the list.
Step 5: You can send a message on their profile.
The user's picture is at the top of their profile.It will open the screen.
Step 6: You can enter your message in the text field.
You can type your message in the text field at the bottom of the screen.
Step 7: There is a red paper plane icon.
There is a button next to the text field.It will send you a message.
Step 8: The square speech bubble icon is at the bottom of the screen.
You can open a list of notifications on a new page with this.
Step 9: The inbox icon is on the top-right.
You can find the button in the upper-right corner of your notifications list.You can see private messages sent to you by your friends here.
Step 10: Send a message to your inbox.
You can open your chat thread with this.You can reply to your friend here, and read the messages in the chat.
