How to clean a canopy of a gazebo

You are unlikely to assess its condition on a regular basis because it is so high above your head.Your gazebo canopy canvas could use a good cleaning if you look outside a second-story window.Since canopies are exposed to wind, rain, tree sap, the sun and those winged creatures that are known to drop "missiles" along their path, canopies generally last only a few seasons. In the meantime, you can keep yours in good shape by avoiding the harmful effects of the outdoors.

Dust and debris can be removed with a brush. You can follow up by hosing down the canopy.

In a bucket, mix a sudsy solution of dish soap and warm water. It probably won't go to waste if you add more soap than you need.
