How To Cook Misua

Step 1: You can buy fresh or dry misua noodles.

If you want to cook the noodles, you can buy them dry.Dry noodles need to be boiled before being served.If the shop doesn't sell misua noodles, you can use Japanese somen noodles.Misua noodles don't need to be boiled and can be used for several days or weeks after purchase.They can be added to most dishes unboiled.

Step 2: The pot of water needs to be boiled.

Put the pot on the stove top after filling it with water.The stove should be turned to high heat until it comes to a boil.The water should be boiled for between 10 and 15 minutes.

Step 3: The misua noodles should be boiled for a few minutes.

The misua noodles should be dropped in the water.For a soft, yet firm texture, leave them in the pot for about 3 minutes.The noodles need to be submerged in the water.Misua is more fragile than most Asian noodles.

Step 4: Misua noodles should be removed before they become too soft.

After a few minutes, turn off the heat and remove the pot from the water.Put the noodles in a bowl after they are cooked.Misua noodles can be used in soups or fried dishes from here.If you want, you can serve them with teriyaki or soy sauce.If you have leftover noodles, store them in a container in the fridge for up to five days.

Step 5: A small amount.

On a cutting board, place 6 garlic cloves, 1 medium yellow onion, and 1 bunch of green onions.Put the chopped onions and garlic in a bowl.

Step 6: For 4-5 minutes, saute the garlic and onions.

Put the vegetables and vegetable oil in a large pot and place it on the stove at medium heat.Fry the vegetables for 4-5 minutes.After sauteing the vegetables, you can smell a fragrant aroma and see a translucent color.

Step 7: Bring it to a boil with 6 cups of water and protein if you want.

Pork meatballs, canned sardines, and tofu are all traditional choices if you put in the water and meat into the pot.When the pot begins to boil, put the water in the pan for a few minutes.You can just add the water if you prefer not to.How much you add depends on how you like to eat.You can add as much or as little as you want.

Step 8: The can of tomato paste should be put to good use.

Turn the stove to low heat when you add the tomato paste to the pan.Bring the mixture to a boil over low heat.

Step 9: For 2 more minutes, add the pre-boiled misua noodles.

The misua noodles should be put into the pot with the soup.Allow the noodles to cook for 2 minutes, then turn off the heat and serve the soup you want.Use a ladle to pour the soup into bowls.You can keep misua soup in the fridge for 3-4 days or the freezer for 1-2 months if you put it in an airtight container.

Step 10: Vegetables such as carrots, mushrooms, cabbages, garlic, and onions can be cut.

Cut the vegetables into thin vertical strips by laying them on a cutting board.Set the vegetable slices aside in separate bowls.The vegetable slices need to be thin to cook quickly.Cut them in half to make sure they fry evenly.

Step 11: Fry the garlic and yellow onions.

Add the chopped garlic and onion to the pan with vegetable oil.Stir the garlic and onions over medium heat until you notice a translucent color and fragrant smell.Don't put the green onion in the pan, as you will use it later.

Step 12: Fry the mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, and soy sauce for a while.

After frying the garlic and onions, pour the remaining vegetables one at a time into the pan along with 2 ounces of soy sauce.Stir the vegetables in the pan for another 10 minutes to help them cook.Along with the vegetables, you can add cooked beef, pork, or shrimp.Depending on your preferences, you can add as little or as much as you want.

Step 13: Put the noodles in the pot and let it cook for a while.

The misua noodles should be put into the pot.After that, turn the stove to low heat and let the vegetables and noodles cook for a while.

Step 14: Add green onions and peanuts to the noodles bowl.

Remove the pan from the heat and put it in the bowl.To serve, top the noodles with peanuts and green onions.To make it taste better, add salt and pepper to it.You can put fried misua noodles in the freezer for 1-2 months after putting them in a container.
