A false bottom in a deep drawer can be used to hide items.Purchase a sheet of plywood at your local store.Take a look at the inner dimensions of the drawer.The plywood should fit inside the drawer.To support the false bottom, glue small wood blocks along the edges of the drawer.Your false bottom's depth will affect the size of your blocks.If the drawer is more than two inches deep, it may look different when opened.The plywood should be placed on the supports as a false bottom.You may want to attach a ribbon or small string on the plywood to help you lift the false bottom, but doing so may give away your secret!
Step 9: There is a hidden compartment in the wall.
A picture can disguise a shelf.Adding a shelf in an existing wall is easy if the space is not present in the wall.Cut out a piece of wallboard.Studs are usually close to each other.To cut a square out of the wallboard, use a razor knife or a drywall saw.There is a horizontal 2x4 between the two studs.Cut a 2x4 to fit the space between the studs.The 2x4 has pocket holes on one side.The horizontal 2x4 needs to be screwed to the studs.There is a picture above your opening.You can choose a picture that is large enough to cover the entire opening.

Pick a place that is not traveled by a lot of people.The more people you have around, the more likely you will keep your secret.It is important to follow property laws when creating a secret space outdoors.
Step 11: Natural vegetation can be used as a cover.
You can use branches and leaves to hide a location in a heavily wooded area.Overlap branches to create a screen.To obstruct the view, pile leaves and moss on the branches.
Step 12: Camouflage netting and cloth can be used to close your secret space.
Camouflage nets behind your natural covering will make your secret space harder to see.
Step 13: You can hide the path to your secret spot.
If you want to visit your secret spot often, you should use a different path each time.Taking the same path many times will create a walkway that is easy to follow.
