Step 4: You can glue artificial flowers to your flip-flops.

You can buy silk or plastic flower stems at a craft store. You can remove the stems and plastic backing from the flowers by cutting them off.Put a generous amount of hot glue or super glue where the two straps of the flip-flops meet.Wait for the flower to dry before you wear it.If you want to add some extra sparkle, you can glue the flower onto the flip-flops.You can cover the entire flip-flops straps with smaller artificial flowers and glue them on.

Step 5: Attach ribbon to the straps to change their color.

Put a small amount of super glue on the bottom side of the straps.Attach the end of the ribbon to the glue and wrap it around the entire strap. If you overlap the ribbon, it will cover the entire length of the straps.Attach the end of the straps to the ribbon with glue.Wrap both straps.Ribbon will work for this activity. If you are decorating adult-sized flip-flops, you need enough ribbon to wrap around both straps. If you want to add a cute touch to these flip-flops, you can tie a bow with leftover ribbon and glue it to the point where the two straps meet.

Pick fabric or ribbon with a pattern that you like.To trim it down to the correct size, use fabric scissors. To make your flip-flops look balanced, try to make all the strips the same size. The fabrics that work well for this activity are cotton, linen, polyester, and velvet. To completely cover the straps of your flip-flops, you will need 20 strips.

Step 7: Attach the fabric or ribbon to the straps of the flip-flops.

Under the straps of your flip-flops, position the middle point of the strips. To secure the fabric in place, tie a double knot.Make sure that the knot is tight by pulling it firmly.Tie half the strips on one strap and the other half on the second strap.Any knot that is secured will work for this task. It's up to you to use your favorite.

Step 8: The strips should be adjusted so that they look the same.

Pull the fabric strips up and down the flip flop straps. To create a balanced look, try to arrange them with even spaces between each tie.You will need to adjust the fabric ties over time.

Step 9: The fabric should be trimmed if necessary.

Take a walk around your home with your flip-flops on.If you find that you trip over the fabric, trim off any excess fabric so that it doesn't drag on the floor. It's a good idea to cut the fabric on a diagonal angle.

Step 10: Instead of ribbon or fabric, use small balloons.

Double-knot the balloon under the strap to secure it in place. When all the straps are covered, repeat this process with small balloons. You will need about 40 balloons. You can use water balloons instead of small balloons.Don't blow the balloons.
