How To Delete Comments or Posts on Facebook on the Facebook App
You can use the mobile app to remove posts and comments on Facebook.You can remove comments other people have made on something you've posted, but not on posts you didn't create.The process for deletion of posts and comments is the same for both phones.
Step 1: You can find the comment you want to remove.
You can remove comments that other people have made on your posts.You can't remove comments that others have made.This process is the same for both phones.You should have opened the Comments section of the post.You can see the last section of this article if you want to remove multiple comments or posts.
Step 2: Hold onto the comment you want to remove.
This will open a new menu on the phone.The menu will appear when you release your finger.Press a blank space in the commentPressing the name will open the person's profile.
Step 3: "Delete."
You should confirm that you want to remove the comment.The comment will be deleted immediately.
Step 4: You can find the post that you want to take down.
You can't remove posts that you made.The process is the same for all of them.You can tap the More button to quickly access your profile and find your posts.You can see the next section if you want to remove multiple posts that you've made.
Step 5: The button is in the upper-right corner of the post.
A new menu will be opened by this.
Step 6: "Delete."
You should confirm that you want to remove the post permanently.The post will be deleted immediately.
Step 7: The activity log can be opened.
You can use your Activity Log if you want to remove multiple posts.This is the fastest way to view the posts and comments that you've made.If you're using an iPad, you can tap the More button in the upper-right corner of the Facebook app.Go to the bottom and tap the activity log.The More button can be found in the lower-right corner of the Facebook app.Go to the settings and scroll down.From the menu, select "Activity Log".
Step 8: You can find a post or comment you want to remove.
You won't be able to see comments that others have made on your posts.
Step 9: The button is next to the post or comment.
A small menu will be opened by this.
Step 10: To remove a post or comment, tap the "Delete" button.
You will be asked to confirm that you want to remove the item from Facebook.The post or comment will be deleted if you confirm.
