Junk mail can be deleted on the iPad.You can easily remove the contents of your junk folder with most email apps.You should review the contents of your junk folder to make sure there are no email messages in it.
Step 1: You can open the Apple Mail app.
The app has a blue icon with a white envelope.It is usually found at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: You can tap the mailboxes.
It is in the upper left corner of the mail.There is a sidebar menu to the left of your email folders.If you want to use more than one email account, you need to tap at the top of the sidebar to the left.
Step 3: Junk can be tapped.
The Junk folder is next to an icon that has an "x" on it.The junk mail is displayed in the sidebar to the left.
Step 4: You can tap on the edit.
It is at the top of the sidebar on the right side.There are more options at the bottom of the sidebar and more buttons to the left in the junk folder.
Step 5: Go to the menu and remove all.
It's at the bottom of the sidebar to the left.A confirmation pop-up is displayed.To make sure you don't keep any messages, review the contents of the Junk folder.
Step 6: Go to the menu and remove all.
The red text is in the pop-up.This shows that you want to send all your emails to the Trash folder.You can choose which emails to remove.To check the emails in the junk folder, tap the radial buttons to the left of them, and then tap at the bottom of the sidebar menu to remove all the checked emails.tap the email to view it if you want to keep it.There is a folder icon at the top of the screen.At the top of the sidebar menu, tap to the left.The email is moved to your inbox.To empty the trash folder, tap in the sidebar to the left, then tap at the top and bottom of the menu.
Step 7: Go to the Gmail app.
The Gmail app has a white icon with an image of an envelope over the folds.
Step 8: You can tap.
It can be found in the upper-right corner of the Gmail app.You can see a sidebar menu with all your email messages.If you are signed in to more than one account, tap "" beside your email address at the top of the sidebar to the left.Go to the email account you want to use.
Step 9: It's a good idea to tap Spam.
Junk mail goes into this folder.It's next to an icon of a body of water.It's in the middle.
Step 10: If you see empty mail, tap it now.
Above the list of emails is it on the right side.There is a pop-up asking if you want to continue.To make sure there aren't any messages you want to keep, be sure to review the contents of the Spam folder before emptying it.
Step 11: Wait, tap Ok.
This shows that you want to send all the emails in the Spam folder to the Trash.By tapping the trashcan icon at the top of the screen, you can remove junk mails individually.If you see an email that you want to keep, tap the email to view it, then tap "" in the upper-right corner.You can move it to your primary inbox by tapping it.If you want to empty your Trash folder, tap in the sidebar to the left.At the top of the list, tap.To empty the trash, tap.
Step 12: You can open the Outlook app.
The Outlook app has a blue icon with a white sheet of paper over an envelope.
Step 13: You can tap.
It is in the upper-right corner of the Outlook app.All the email folders are displayed in the sidebar menu.If you're signed in to more than one email in the Outlook app, you can use the grey bar to choose which email to use.
Step 14: It's a good idea to tap Spam.
This is where all your junk mail goes.It's next to an icon that looks like a folder with a line through it.
Step 15: There is empty mail to be tapped.
It's next to an icon that looks like a trashcan at the top of the sidebar.You can see a pop-up asking you to confirm that you want to permanently remove your junk mail.Review the contents of the Spam folder to make sure there aren't any messages you want to keep.
Step 16: You can permanently remove it by tapping.
There is a red text in the pop-up when you tap "Empty Spam".This shows that you want to empty the contents of your folder.Make sure there aren't any email messages you want to keep by reviewing the contents of your Spam folder.The trashcan icon at the top of the email message can be tapped if you want to individually remove an email.To remove the message, tap to confirm.
Step 17: You can open the Yahoo Mail app.
The app has a purple icon that has an image of an envelope.
Step 18: You can tap.
The app is in the upper-right corner.There is a sidebar to the left showing the options menus and email folders.
Step 19: If you see something, tap it.
Your junk mail goes to this folder.It is next to an icon with a shield.
Step 20: Hold an email to select it.
The buttons on the left are for the rest of the emails in the Spam folder.
Step 21: You can choose which emails you want to remove.
The emails have radial buttons to the left of them.The blue checkmark button at the top of the sidebar menu is where you can select all emails.To make sure there aren't any messages you want to keep, review the contents of the Spam folder.
Step 22: You can tap the trashcan icon.
The sidebar menu has a trashcan icon at the bottom.If you click on the pop-up menu, you will be asked if you want to permanently remove the emails from the Spam menu.
Step 23: It's ok to tap.
All emails are permanently deleted from the Spam folder.tap the email to view it if you want to keep it.In the lower-right corner, tap "".The email is moved to your inbox.
