Step 1: You can open the ride hailing service.
The app icon looks like a black square inside a white circle and one black line outside.You can find it on one of your Home screens or in the app drawer.
Step 2: You can enter a destination.
To request your ride, tap in the search bar.You can change the pick-up location and passenger information.Addresses where Walmarts are located near you can be found if you enter a destination name like Walmart.Set it as your destination by tapping one of those suggestions.If you don't want to use your current location, you can change the pick up location.
Step 3: To select a pool, tap.
You can request a ride after entering your destination.Pool might not be available in your area if you don't see it listed.
Step 4: To confirm a pool, tap it.
You can't make further selections until you tap this at the bottom of the page.
Step 5: You can select how many seats you need.
Up to 2 seats can be selected.If there is a third person in your party, you can't use the service.
Step 6: To confirm a pool, tap it.
The eligible drivers in the area will receive a ride request from you.You need to be at the confirmed pick-up location.Many drivers wait for the allotted 2 minutes before canceling the trip.It is possible that you will be the last one dropped off if you are the first one picked up.If you don't have time, you should request a ride from another company.
Step 7: Go to www.uber.com and log in.
You can use any web browser to request a ride.
Step 8: Pick up and destination locations can be entered.
Under the blue "Where can we pick you up?", click the search bar.There is a box.If you want to set your current location as your pick-up location, you can click on it.Go to your destination.You can either type in a new address or click on a previous destination.
Step 9: To select a pool, click.
You are prompted to pick which type of ride you'd like to request after entering your destination.Pool might not be available in your area if you don't see it listed.
Step 10: Click on the pool you want to confirm.
It is at the bottom of the page.
Step 11: Select how many seats you need.
