How To Do Splits in Martial Arts

You might have been asked by your martial arts master to do a split, but you couldn't.You will learn how to be more flexible and be able to do splits.It takes time to achieve this skill.You can achieve this in as little as three weeks if you work hard.

Step 1: Don't wear clothes that are not appropriate.

To do a split, you will need to wear loose fitting clothes such as gym shorts, a leotard, or a gi to avoid ripping your clothes in an unwanted place.It will help you get into position quicker.

Step 2: If you are practicing at home, try to wear socks.

If you can, try to slide on a slippery floor.

Step 3: There is a stretch.

You will definitely want to stretch, even if you don't need to, to avoid tearing your muscles.There are many stretches that increase your flexibility, such as butterfly stretches, lunges, standing forward bend, sitting forwards, touching toes, pyramid stretches and lizard poses.Try to hold them for 25 to 40 seconds each.

Step 4: Relax from time to time.
