You can learn how to ignore a person's profile on Facebook.If you choose to open their profile, they'll still be able to post in your News Feed if you follow them.
Step 1: You can open Facebook.
The app has a white "f" on a blue background.If you log in, your News Feed will open.If you don't already have a password for Facebook, you can type in your email address or phone number.
Step 2: The search bar has a tap on it.
It is at the top of the screen.
Step 3: You can type in your friend's name.
The person you want to follow should be this one.Below the search bar, you'll see suggestions as you type.If you want, you can add your friend's name to your friends list or News Feed.
Step 4: You can tap their name.
The top search item should be below the bar.
Step 5: The following button should be tapped.
There is a row of options below the user's profile picture and name.You follow any friends you add.
Step 6: You can tap un follow.
This option can be found in the far left corner of the pop-up menu.
Step 7: The screen is at the top.
Save your changes if you exit the menu.Your News Feed will no longer show updates from your friend.
Step 8: You can navigate to the Facebook website.
You can open your News Feed by logging into Facebook.If you don't have a Facebook account, you can enter your email address or phone number into the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 9: The bar has a search function.
There is a white text field at the top of the page.
Step 10: You can type in your friend's name.
The person you want to follow should be this one.Below the search bar, you'll see suggestions as you type.If you want, you can click on your friend's name in your News Feed.
Step 11: Press enter.
You can search for your friend on Facebook.
Step 12: Click their name.
It should be the most searched for item on this page.
Step 13: Over the following button, hover your mouse.
It is to the right of your friend's profile picture on Facebook.
Step 14: Click Unfollow.
The following option is at the bottom of the menu.Doing so will remove all notifications for your chosen friend and prevent them from showing up in your News Feed.
