You can learn how to downvote a post or comment on the official Reddit app for iPhone or iPad.To vote on anything, you need to log in to your account.Posts with a lot of down votes won't be seen as much as posts with more upvotes, as they will rise to the top of the page.Comments that get a lot of downvotes are hidden.
Step 1: The app is open.
There is a white cartoon alien in the center of the app.You will need to download the app from the App Store if you don't have it.
Step 2: The profile icon is on the screen.
The icon looks like a silhouette of a person in the bottom-right of the screen.
Step 3: Log in with your finger.
There is a button on the bottom.If you don't have a Reddit account, you can create one.
Step 4: You will need to sign in to your account.
You can sign in to your account with your usernames and passwords.You have to sign in to vote on posts or comments.
Step 5: If you want to downvote, go to a post or comment.
Look for a post you want to downvote on your main feed, or tap the speech bubble icon below the post to view the comments.
Step 6: Below the post or comment, tap the "down-arrow" icon.
If you tap the down-arrow icon below a post's title or comment, it will show you that you've cast your vote.
