How To Emulate Windows on a Mac

Do you know that you can't use certain software on an Apple computer because it only runs on a PC?Well wait no more.These simple steps will show you how to run Windows software on a mac.

Step 1: If you want to find out if your mac has an Intel processor, go to "about this mac".

The following software will not work with G4 and G5 Power PC macs.

Step 2: Boot Camp can be downloaded from Apple.com.

You can install Windows with this software.

Step 3: Click the.dmg file to open it.

Step 4: Wait for the installation of Boot Camp to begin.

IfBoot Camp Assistant can't be used, quit and download the update from Apple's Support Downloads.

Step 5: After you insert a blank disk, open the Boot Camp Assistant and choose "Burn a Macintosh Drivers CD now".

Step 6: Click partition to choose the partition sizes for your operating systems.

Step 7: Click "Start Installation" if you want to install the Windows OS.

You will need a copy of the Windows OS to complete this.

Step 8: When on the blue screen, press Enter or Return and choose Partition C, which should match the sizes you chose for each OS, and then choose the FAT partition format for now.

Step 9: After your computer restarts, put your Windows disk in it and then insert the Mac Driver CD.

Step 10: Accept the default settings when asked for them by the installer assistant.

Step 11: Your installation is a success if you click to restart your computer when prompted by the assistant.

Step 12: If you hold the OPTION key down, you'll get a selection screen of which OS to boot.

Step 13: You can now run Windows on your Mac.
