How To Enter a New Line on Reddit on iPhone or iPad
When you press "Return" on a post or comment, it will not be seen as a new line by the site.You can learn how to enter new lines, paragraphs, and line breaks in text posts or comments using the official Reddit app for iPhone and iPad.
Step 1: You can open the app.
There is an orange app with a white cartoon alien.If you don't have the app, you can sign in with your account from the App Store.
Step 2: You can start a new text post or comment.
To start a new text post, tap the speech bubble icon below the post you want to comment on.To type a title, tap "TEXT" and "share your thoughts" at the same time.To select the body of the post, tap "Describe in more detail."
Step 3: You can type your first line.
You can start typing the message you want to post either in the new comment or the body of the text post.
Step 4: After the first line, tap space twice.
To create a new line, you have to enter two spaces.If you type the two spaces too fast, the period will be auto-inserted and you may have to erase it.
Step 5: Return.
The key is located on the bottom-right of the keyboard.
Step 6: You can type the second line.
Your typing should be similar to the following; This is the first line.
Step 7: Either tap the post or send it.
It is in the upper right corner.The final result is displayed on this post.Just below the previous text, you will see your second line.
