How To Enter Multiple Lines on Slack on Android

You can learn how to write a multi-line message in a post or channel with this wikiHow.

Step 1: You can open it on your phone.

There is a multicolored background with the S icon on it.It can be found on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Step 2: A conversation or channel can be tapped.

In a chat channel or direct message you can type a message that spans multiple lines.To open a channel, tap the team name at the top- left corner of the screen, then tap an option under "Channels".

Step 3: The first line of your message is what you want to type.

Step 4: The key is on your keyboard.

This looks like an arrow pointing to the left.The next line is where the cursor will move to.

Step 5: You can type the next line of your message.

Step 6: Enter with a tap.

If you wish to continue, this opens another line.

Step 7: You can type another line.

As you type your entire message, repeat this process as many times as you please.

Step 8: Go to the send button.

There is a blue paper airplane at the bottom right corner of the screen.Your multiple-line message will show up in the message or conversation.
