How To Enter Recovery Mode on Android Smartphones

You can learn to boot your phone in recovery mode.

Step 1: Press and hold the Power button.

Step 2: You can turn off the power.

You may need to confirm "Power Off" again on your device.The power key can be held until the device shuts down.

Step 3: Hold the Recovery Mode button combination.

The Volume Down and Power buttons are used for most phones.Other common button combinations are Volume Up, Volume Down, and Power.The Home and Power buttons can be used on some devices.

Step 4: Wait for the logo to show up.

The logo you see when installing a system update is usually the same as the image on the back of the phone.

Step 5: To navigate the menu, use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons.

Step 6: The Power button can be pressed to make a selection.

Recovery Mode can be preceded by a menu on some devices.To select "Recovery Mode", use the Volume buttons and press the Power button.
