How To Facebook Tag Someone Only by First Name on Android
You can learn how to tag a friend in a post and then remove their last name from the post using the Facebook app.
Step 1: You can open the Facebook app on your phone.
The blue box has a white "f" logo on it.If you don't have a password, sign in with your email address or phone number.
Step 2: The News Feed has a button that you can tap.
The News Feed icon can be found in the upper- left corner of the screen under the Search bar.
Step 3: What's on your mind?This will be at the top of your news feed.
It will allow you to create a new post.
Step 4: You can tap on what's on your mind again.
This time it will bring up your keyboard.
Step 5: You should start typing your friend's name.
As you type, you will see a drop-down list of names.You might have to add a sign before the name on your device.
Step 6: Your friend's name is on the list.
Your friend will be tagged in your post.You will be able to see their full name.
Step 7: The Backspace button is on your keyboard.
Pressing this button will remove your friend's last name from the tag.
Step 8: There is a tap post.
There is a button in the upper-right corner of the screen.You will see a post on your timeline.
