How To Find the Current User on Windows

You can learn how to see your account's password on a Windows computer.

Step 1: You can open your computer's Start menu.

The four squares on the Start menu button are in the lower left corner of the screen.

Step 2: The search box has %USERNAME% in it.

Enter this line into the search box on the Start menu.The User Accounts application can be found in your Control Panel.If %USERNAME% doesn't bring User Accounts in the search, try searching %ACCOUNT%.

Step 3: You can enter on your keyboard.

You can open your User Accounts window with this.

Step 4: You can find your password in the User Accounts window.

In your User Accounts settings, you can see your current usernames.

Step 5: On your computer, open the Run dialog box.

You can open any application or document on your computer with the Run window.You can find and open from the Start menu or on the keyboard.

Step 6: Go to the Run window and type cmd.

Step 7: You can enter on your keyboard.

Command Prompt can be opened in a new window.

Step 8: Command Prompt is where you can type whoami.

The command will reply with your name.

Step 9: You can enter on your keyboard.

Your current password will be displayed.
