How To Get an Uber Fare Estimate in Advance

There is a fare estimator tool in the app and website.You can estimate your fare in advance of your trip.It is important to note that the final fare may not reflect the estimated cost, as the fare estimate is intended to provide users with a general sense of the trip's cost.The final fare can be affected by traffic, demand and weather.The final fare may not be reflected in the fare estimated at 10 A.M.

The button is not available if you select it.

Step 6: You should type in your destination.

You can return to the previous screen to see the updated fare estimate.

Step 7: To compare fares, tap on the different options.

Step 8: To see additional pricing information, tap on the estimated fare.

A window will appear on your screen.Base Fare Cost per minute and Booking Fee are some of the information it will give you.

Step 9: You can launch the app.

Step 10: Go to your pickup location.

You can find your exact location with the help of wi-fi and gps.If you get picked up from a different location, you can manually change the address by tapping on a box that lists your current location and typing in your desired pickup location.Move the map so that the pin is in the correct location.

Step 12: You can type in your destination.

Step 18: You can choose to ride.

Step 21: You can type in the address of the pickup location.

If you're at the pickup location, press the pointer icon.The Enter pickup location field contains an arrowhead pointing Northeast.The Fare Estimator uses gps to find your exact location and enter it into the field.

Step 22: Click on the destination you want to enter.

Step 23: The address is where you want to go.

Step 24: Click on it.

The button can be found to the right of the "enter destination" field.A list of results will be generated by pressing this button.

Step 25: The results should be reviewed.

You will get an estimate for every option in your city.The estimates will appear as a range of prices.

Step 26: You can view additional information by pressing the question mark icon.

To find this icon, look for it to the right of the fare estimate.Base Fare Cost Per Minute Cost per Mile Booking Fee Minimum Fare Cancellation Fee will be sent to you.
