You can learn how to give the search engine access to your camera using the Chrome web browser and the mobile app.You'll need to allow the Chrome browser to access your camera and microphone for certain sites to function properly, and make sure the app on your phone or iPad has permission to use it.
Step 1: You can open chrome.
The app icon is red, green, and yellow with a blue center.You can find it in the app drawer or on one of your Home screens.You can find it in the Start menu on Windows and the Applications folder in Finder on Mac.
Step 2: Go to a site that wants to use your camera.
The address can be typed in the address bar at the top of the screen.
Step 3: Click or tap to allow.
The site can be recorded from your camera.The camera will not record if you are using a different tab.If you want to prevent that site from asking for permission to use your camera, click or tap.To change a site's permission, click or tap.
Step 4: Open the settings.
You can either find the gear icon in the Quick Menu, which you can access by moving your finger from the top of your screen to the bottom, or by using the app drawer.
Step 5: You can tap the apps.
This menu option is next to a 2x2 grid of squares to represent your apps list, and will show all of them when you tap it.
Step 6: You can tap the lens.
The list is usually in alphabetical order, so you may need to scroll to find it.
Step 7: Permissions can be tapped.
The second listing in the menu is usually it.
Step 8: You can tap the camera.
There is an icon of a camera next to this.
Step 9: Allow only when using the app or asking.
If you tap "Ask every time" you will be prompted to give the app permission to use your camera whenever you open it.To return to the page, tap the back arrow.
Step 10: Open the settings.
There is a gear app icon on one of the Home screens.
Step 11: Privacy can be tapped.
There is a menu icon next to a hand on a grey background.
Step 12: The camera can be tapped.
It's next to a camera.
Step 13: If you want, you can tap on the search box at the top of the page.
If you don't have the app installed, you will not see it here.If you want to use the photos in your album for the benefit of the search engine, you need to give it access to your photo library.
