How To Hide Rows on Google Sheets on PC or Mac

You can collapse and hide an entire row or multiple rows from a spreadsheet using an internet browser.

Step 1: Go to the internet browser and open the sheets.

Go to your browser's address bar and type sheets.google.com.If you're not signed in, you have to enter your email and password.

Step 2: You can click a spreadsheet.

You can find the spreadsheet you want to modify by looking at the list of saved sheets.

Step 3: The row you want to hide is next to the number label.

You can find the number label on the left-hand side of the row.This will highlight the entire row.If you want to hide multiple rows at the same time, hold down the Shift key and click another row.This will highlight the rows in the selected range.

Step 4: Click on the row you want to highlight.

This will open the menu in the drop-down box.

Step 5: The Hide row is on the menu.

The selected row will be hidden from the spreadsheet.Unless you unhide it, the data won't show up on the sheet.This option will indicate the range of selected cells if you've selected multiple rows.
