You can hide your phone number from the public.The process of removing a phone number is not the same as this one.
Step 1: You can open the app.
There is a white "F" on a blue background.If you log in, your News Feed will open.If you don't have a password for Facebook, you can type in your email address or phone number.
Step 2: You can tap.
It's in either the bottom right corner of the screen for the Apple device or in the top right corners for both the device and the operating system.
Step 3: You should tap your name.
You can see it at the top of the menu.If you do that, you will be taken to your profile page.
Step 4: Click About to scroll down.
Beneath your profile picture is the information section.
Step 5: Contact information can be tapped.
There is a list of profile information at the top of the page."Mobile Phone" should be listed underneath it.
Step 6: Next to the "Contact info" heading, scroll down and tap Edit.
The location of this section depends on the information you have on your Facebook page, but it should be above the "Basic info" box.
Step 7: The box should be on the right of the phone number.
You can find your phone number at the top of the page.
Step 8: Only me, that's all.
The pop-out menu has this option near it.You can keep your phone number on your profile but only you can see it.To view the option, you will have to tap.
Step 9: Go to the Facebook website.
You can open your News Feed by logging into Facebook.If you don't have a Facebook account, you can enter your email address or phone number in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 10: You can click on your name.
It should be on the right side of the page.
Step 11: You can click about.
It is located under the cover photo.
Step 12: Click over the phone number.
This option can be found in the upper right side of the "About" page.
Step 13: Click to change your contact and basic info.
The option appears when you hover over the phone number.
Step 14: To the right of your phone number, click the Edit button.
The button won't appear until you move your mouse over the box.
Step 15: You can click on the padlock icon.
It's below your phone number.
Step 16: Click only me.
This option can be found in the drop-down menu.Doing so will keep your phone number on your profile, but only you can see it.Clicking at the bottom of the menu will show you the option.
