How To Install AutoCAD

To install the program on your computer, you have to download the official installer file from the Autodesk website.If you're a student or a teacher, you can get the official download for free on the education website.If you're using Windows, you can use the download manager to install AutoCAD.

Step 1: Go to your browser and open your account.

Go tomanage.autodesk.com in your internet browser to sign in to your account.You're subscribed to this account as well.If you don't have an account, you can create a new one.If you don't have an AutoCAD subscription, you can view the available plans and start your membership at the website.If you're a student or teacher, you can download the software for free if you complete your education profile at www.autodesk.com.

Step 2: All products and services can be found on the left-menu.

There is a blue navigation panel on the left-hand side.You can open a list of all your subscriptions.

Step 3: Next to AutoCAD, click View Downloads.

You can open your download options with this.Clicking here will allow you to see the individual product downloads.

Step 4: You can download the version, platform, and language you want.

Select the correct version of OS your computer is running, and choose the program language you want to use.

Step 5: You can choose your download method.

To download with the standard web browser features, you can select either Windows or Mac.You will be able to download the file to your computer.Select a saving location if you are prompted.You will be able to select here when versions are released in 2019.In a single session, this will complete your download and installation.The installation method for your operating system will be shown after you scroll down.The program will be installed on all systems.

Step 6: Click on the installation file to find it.

This will open the installation wizard in a new window and begin the setup process.

Step 7: You can click the button to install.

The button labeled "Install on this computer" can be found in the lower-right corner of the window.

Step 8: The box is next to the component you want to install.

You can install the main program here, as well as other programs.You can change the installation location on your computer by clicking at the bottom.

Step 9: Click the button.

The installation window has a button in it.It will install all the programs on your computer.

Step 10: You can click the finish button.

You will see a list of installed programs when your installation is done.You can close the installation by clicking this button.

Step 11: You can open the desktop app on your computer.

The blue and green "A" icon is what the desktop app looks like.It can be found on the Start menu.Only Windows has the desktop app.You don't have to download the file to install it.The program will be installed by the app.

Step 12: You need to sign in to your account.

Enter your email and password to sign in if you're not automatically signed in.It's important to use the same account that you're subscribed to.

Step 13: You can check the "I agree to the terms" box.

The app can be found on the My Products list.To proceed, check this box below the app.

Step 14: Click the button.

There is a button on the My Products page.It will install AutoCAD on your computer in a single step.You can open the app when you click the green button.

Step 15: You can find the installation file on your computer.

Double-clicking on the DMG setup file will take you to your Downloads folder.The contents of the installation will be opened in a new window.

Step 16: Double-click the file to install it.

The item looks like a box.The installer will start in a new window.

Step 17: Continue until the installation is complete.

When you are set up, the installation wizard will prompt you to start.Click on the License page when you're prompted.You can change your location on the Destination Select page.

Step 18: The button is on the bottom-right.

This will allow you to start the installation on your Mac.Go ahead and install if you're prompted.

Step 19: On the bottom-right you can click Close.

Click this button to finish the installation.
