This is a guide on how to hack a PS3.mod, cheat, third-party applications, and games can be installed on the PS3 if youjailbreak.You won't be able to go online while the jailbreak is active because it is against Sony's terms of use.Some PS3 models, such as the Slim and all versions of the Super Slim, can't be jailbroken.
Step 1: You can download the file.

Step 4: The PS3's model number is related to supported models.
All PS3 Fat models are supported by jailbroken models.The console is supported if the first two numbers after "CECH" are "20", "21" or "25".There are no jailbroken versions of the Super Slim model of PS3.
Step 5: Do you know if your PS3 is NAND or not?
If the first letter after "CECH" is "A", you can determine the type of PS3 you have.All supported Slim models are not.
Step 6: There is a ZIP folder.

Step 14: Attach the flash drive to your computer.
You can create the installation drive if you know that your PS3 is compatible with a jailbreak.If your PS3's firmware number is higher than 3.56, you can't hack it as it will brick it.
Step 15: The PS3 folder should be removed from the flash drive.
Simply remove the PS3 folder.
Step 16: Go to the Step 2 folder.
Double-click the folder to open it.
Step 17: The contents of the Step 2 folder should be copied to the flash drive.
If you want to open your flash drive, you need to click and drag across the "FLsh.hex" and "PS3" folder.
Step 18: Don't use your flash drive again.
Plug the flash drive back into the PS3 for the last time and make sure to keep it there until the jailbreak is complete.
Step 19: The PS3 has a right-most slot.
You have to keep the flash drive here until you finish the process.
Step 20: You can open the PS3's web browser.
The PS3's home screen has an icon.
Step 21: You can set the "Blank Page" option to be your home page.
Press Select to do it.
Step 22: There are temporary files.
Failure to do so may result in an error when attempting to download the custom firmware.Press Cookies, select, and select when prompted, for each of the temporary file types.Press, select, and select when prompted to search history.Press, select, and select when prompted.Press, select, and select when prompted.
Step 23: You can open the address bar.
The PS3's controller has a button on it.
Step 24: You can enter an address.

Step 30: Allow your PS3 to go off.
The PS3 will turn itself off after a few seconds after you install the CFW.
Step 31: Go back to the PS3.
If the PS3 is off for a while, use a synchronized controller to turn it back on.When prompted, allow your PS3 to restore "corrupted" files, and back up its files.
Step 32: Go to settings.
You can find the briefcase-shaped icon at the top of the screen, but you may have to scroll left to select it.
Step 33: Select the system that needs to be updated.
The PS3 Update menu opens.
Step 34: You can update via Storage Media.
This will prompt the PS3 to check the drives.

Step 36: Wait for the installation to finish.
