How to make a ferris wheel model at home, and how to move a Ferris Wheel, are some of the things that can be done.

I designed a simple moving ferris wheel that could be a fun learning experience for children and adults.I was always curious about what the toys looked like inside.I wanted users to be able to see what goes on inside of the toy ferris wheel.Users can see how the wheel turns when the gears are on the outside. If you like this, please vote for it in the toy's competition.

There is only one sheet of plywood for the base of the ferris wheel.

The ferris wheel's base is made of 1 sheet of clear acrylic. It must be thin enough to be easily bent with a heat gun.

If you prefer, you can use different software to draw my pieces. You are ready to cut after you finish drawing or gathering your files.

1.It can be difficult to draw the gears. There are many helpful resources on the internet. The gears I needed were created with the help of the gear generator. It's important that the gears fit and work together if you draw your own.

2.Wooden wheels, passenger cars/cabins, wooden base: I have attached the file I drew here.Feel free to use what I have, modify it, or create your own.I used a laser cutter that required me to use a red color for cutting.

The wooden pieces may be rough with burn marks after being laser cut.If you want your toy to be clean of burn marks, you should sand the wood with your choice of fine grits.Unless you want your pieces to have more scratch marks and be less transparent, you don't need to sand them.

Attach the miniature passenger cars/carriers with wood glue.Be careful! The pieces need time to dry.

Attach a piece of wood with holes in them to the clear piece with hot glue.Attach the pieces of 1.5 inch length to the holes with glue.If you want to attach the other side of the wheel, you need to string the passenger cars/carriers along the 1.5 inch dowels.Glue the circular wooden piece on top of the wood piece that is on the other side.

Setting up the board and motor can be difficult.I recommend some resources.

"Sweep" can be used in the library. You can modify the code to adjust the speed. The code I used for the ferris wheel is in the attached photo.

The motor and board can be glue onto the interior side of the base with leftover scraps. If you need to open the ferris wheel to change wires or fix a problem, make sure the interior is clean and accessible.

1.If you screw the smaller gear and motor together, it will fit between the bottom hole on one side of the triangular piece.

2.A triangular piece without a square opening can be inserted with a hammer or rubber mallet.

3.Use a heat gun to melt the plastic so that it will fit at the triangle's corners. If you glue it onto the interior side of the triangle piece, it will serve as the triangular base's sides.

4.You can design a small door that you can open and close with the remaining triangular piece.

Attach the wheel to the base by placing the 0.6'' dowel into the middle section so that it can spin comfortably.Make sure the gear matches up.
