How to make a Horchata Frappuccino that's better than Starbucks.

The Horchata Almondmilk Frappuccino was announced by Starbucks at the beginning of August. This new drink uses almond milk and cinnamon dolce syrup topped with whipped cream and is inspired by the popular Latinx staple.

Since horchata is my favorite drink, I knew I had to try it even if I didn't like it.It tasted like a super sweet caramel drink with hints of horchata.Like many others, I was very disappointed.

I liked the idea of a frozen and blended version of my favorite drink.Since I can't go all the way to South America to try a more legit version, I decided to recreate it myself and share it with others. An alternative Horchata Frappuccino recipe has more than just a hint of spice.

Milk, sweetened condensed milk, ice, instant coffee, and cinnamon should be put into the blender.

Pour into two tall glasses and top them with whipped cream, cinnamon, and Dulce de Leche or caramel syrup.
