How To Make a Rubber Band Star

A simple trick that you can use to impress your friends is making a star out of a rubber band.A rubber band is all you need.If you can get a single star down, try to make a star within it.

Step 1: A rubber band is placed over your thumb and index finger.

If you want the rubber band to stay taut, put it near the end of your fingers.Make sure your palm is facing you by turning your hand.Wide rubber bands are more difficult to stretch, so choose a band that is not too wide.Pick a rubber band that is slightly longer than normal. It probably won't work if you're having trouble stretching it around your fingers.

Step 2: Lift the band closest to you over the top band.

You will see 2 bands when you hold your palm toward you.Pull your finger out of the second band by putting your right index finger under the first one.It should go under the first band.

Step 3: Attach the loop to your pinkie.

To twist the band you pulled out, use your right hand. You can hook it over your pinkie. The triangle shape should be stretched between your thumb, index finger, and pinkie. The triangle should be on the inside edges of your fingers, not the outside, and the rubber band should twist around each finger to make a loop.

Step 4: To grab the top band, reach into your thumb loop.

Take your right index finger and place it near the inside of your left thumb, in the loop made by the rubber band. You can grab the band between your left index finger and your pinkie by going up through the middle triangle. You can draw the band out through the thumb loop. The square should be in the middle.Hold on to the loop you pulled out.

Step 5: Between your 2 index fingers, grab the right side of the band.

You can put your middle finger through the loop over your pinkie.Pull the band that's to the left out.Make the final star by stretching out your fingers. Two points of the star are held on to your index and middle fingers.

Step 6: Begin with a single star.

You need to be able to make the single star first to move to a double star. The double star is a continuation of the single star, so get your hands in position with your left thumb, left pinkie, right index finger, and right middle finger. There is a rubber band that is not too wide. You should be able to hold it between your hands. It should be small enough to maintain tension on one hand.

Step 7: You can stretch the triangle over your pinkie and left thumb.

The loops should pop over the edges of these fingers. You have a triangle shape with a loop over the right and middle fingers.Put the right middle finger over the left pinkie. The loops have your right fingers in them.

Step 8: You can grab the bottom of the loop.

The runs are in front of your left index finger if you use your right and middle fingers. The bottom part of the loop is over the index finger. With your finger pads pointing up, put your fingers in it from the top.

Step 9: Pull the loop down.

The rubber band should be below the loop.To form a new loop, twist it over itself to the left. The loop should be over your right and middle fingers.

Step 10: The bottom loops have your right fingers through them.

The inside of the loop that goes over your thumb is where your right index finger should be.Go from the top to the bottom of the loop with your middle finger.

Step 11: The loop should be lifted with your thumb.

While keeping your fingers in the loops of the star, pull the loop that you pulled down from the top with your right thumb.Pull down on the 2 loops at the bottom and you have a star.
