How To Make Dippy Eggs

Step 1: The eggs should be brought to room temperature.

Step 2: Bring the water to a boil by pouring it into a pot.

Step 3: Lower the eggs into the water when the burner is turned to medium.

Step 4: The eggs should be cooked for 4 to 5 minutes.

If you like your dippy eggs to be very runny, set a timer for 4 minutes.Set the timer for 5 minutes for eggs that are slightly more set.The eggs should be left to cook with the lid off of the pot.If you cook the eggs for more than 5 minutes, the yolks will be hard to dip the toast into.

Step 5: Transfer the eggs to cups.

Remove the soft-boiled eggs from the water by using the spoon.Put them on a towel and then into an egg cup.The narrow end of the egg should be positioned at the top.If you don't have egg cups, put the eggs in shot glasses or a small dish filled with rice.

Step 6: To get the yolk, slice off the top quarter of the egg.

A knife can be used to slice the cap off of a soft-boiled egg.To slice through the top quarter of the egg, run the knife around the edge.The cap should be thrown away.You should use a sharp knife to cut the egg.

Step 7: Put 2 slices of bread in the oven.

You can use your favorite type of bread.If you dunk thicker slices of bread into the dippy egg, it will hold up better.If you're making dippy eggs and toast for kids, they might want you to cut the bread's crusts off.

Step 8: The bread slices should be golden brown.

Push down on the lever to adjust the setting.The bread should be golden brown on the sides.If you don't have a toasting device, you can use your oven or broiler.

Step 9: Spread butter over the slices and cut them into strips.

Spread butter on them after you remove the toast.Take a sharp knife and cut the slices into strips that are 1 inch wide.If you want a more filling meal, make a grilled cheese sandwich and slice it into strips.

Step 10: The toast should be dipped into the dippy egg.

Take a strip of toast and eat it.Don't stop dipping until you've finished the dippy egg.Once you've finished the toast strips, you can use a spoon to scoop out the rest of the egg.The toast will become soft as it sits and you can enjoy the dippy eggs with it.
