How To Make Eyeglass Cleaner

It's a part of wearing glasses that they get dusty and smudged. It is easy to mix up your own cleaner that cuts through dirt. You can use rubbing alcohol or witch hazel to make a small bottle of portable eyeglass cleaner. If you're worried that rubbing alcohol could damage protective coating on your lens, wash them in soapy water and dry them with a microfiber cloth.

Step 1: A spray bottle half full with water can be filled.

Remove the cap from the small bottle and pour a small amount of water into it.The cleaner can use cold tap water. If you don't have a large spray bottle, use any small bottle you have to adjust the measurement of the water and rubbing alcohol.

Step 2: Rub alcohol into the bottle until it is almost full.

You can add rubbing alcohol or witch hazel to the spray bottle. If you're using a bottle of 2 liters, you need to pour in 30 liters of rubbing alcohol. If you prefer a non-chemical cleaner, use alcohol-free witch hazel. It is calledubbing alcohol.

Step 3: If you want to make a cleanser, add 1 drop of dishwashing soap and swirl it.

Attach the spray lid to the bottle with a drop of gentle dishwashing soap. The rubbing alcohol and soap should be mixed with the water. The cleanser might foam up if you shake it vigorously.

Step 4: Put the solution on your glasses and wipe them with a microfiber cloth.

Put some cleaning solution on the sides of the glasses.Rub the lenses with a microfiber cloth until they're clean and dry.Microfiber doesn't leave lint on the lens and is softer than average fabric. The cleaning solution could be sprayed on the microfiber cloth.

Step 5: The cleaner can be kept at room temperature.

If you use rubbing alcohol that isn't close to expiring, your cleaner should last for a few months.Store the cap at room temperature if you screw it on tightly. If you swirl the bottle, the soap won't settle to the bottom.

Step 6: Place warm soapy water in a wide bowl.

Drop 2 to 3 drops of gentle dishwashing soap in a wide bowl in the sink.Turn on the warm water and fill the bowl.Put your hands in the water to distribute the soap. The water should be sparkling. If you use hot water, it can break down the protective coating over time.

Step 7: Rub the glasses with your fingers after putting them in the bowl.

The glasses should be placed in the soapy water.Rub your fingers over the sides of the lens to remove dirt. You can lower the glasses into the water if the rest of the frame is clean.

Step 8: The glasses should be washed with warm water.

The glasses need to be taken out of the soapy water and put on the tap.All of the soap and dirt can be removed by running warm water over each lens. You can smudge the lens if you touch them after you've washed them.

Step 9: Dry the lens with a microfiber cloth.

Rub each lens with a microfiber cloth until they're dry, instead of wiping them on your shirt or towel.Microfiber cloths are great for drying your glasses. The water in your glasses may form water spots as it dries.
