How To Make Lasagna with Meat

A traditional Italian dish consists of layers of pasta, cheese, meat, and tomato-based sauce.This article will show you two different takes on this popular dish that will be finished and ready to eat in under two hours.

Step 1: The temperature in the oven should be 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large skillet, add the ground beef and sausage and cook on medium heat.Some of the fat can be left in the pan for flavor.

Step 2: Put four cups of sauce in a container.

In a large bowl, beat the eggs and then add the cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.All of the ingredients should be mixed together.For later, set the rest of the cheese aside.

Step 3: The meat sauce should be put at the bottom of the dish.

A smooth layer can be formed by spreading the mixture evenly.The meat sauce should be covered with one layer of noodles.

Step 4: Spread the rest of the cheese mixture over the noodles.

Make sure the entire dish is covered.

Step 5: Next, add another layer of meat sauce, noodles, and cheese.

Add another layer of noodles and top it with meat sauce.

Step 6: The meat sauce should be put over the cheese.

If you want to bake in the oven, cover it with aluminum foil.

Step 7: Take the dish out of the oven.

If you want the noodles to be tender, bake for an additional 15 minutes.Before serving, let the noodles stand for 15 minutes.

Step 8: Place the oven in the middle of the room at a temperature of at least 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).

Step 9: The Bechamel sauce should be prepared.

The butter should be completely melted in a large pot.The flour will be whisked until smooth.Continue to whisk and cook the milk for about 10 minutes.When finished, the sauce should be thick, smooth, and creamy.Allow to cool completely and set aside.

Step 10: Add the ground beef to the pan of extra-virgin olive oil.

Cook the meat with salt and pepper.Allow the excess fat to cool completely.

Step 11: In a large bowl, whisk the eggs.

Add in the cheese, salt, and pepper and mix thoroughly.

Step 12: The Bechamel sauce should be spread into the bottom of the dish.

If you want to make sure the entire dish is covered, cover it with one layer of pasta.

Step 13: The ricotta mixture should be covered with one layer.

Next, add another layer of pasta sheets.

Step 14: In an even layer add all of the ground beef.

It should be covered with 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese.

Step 15: The Bechamel sauce should be spread over the mozzarella.

Spread the rest of the bechamel sauce over the pasta.Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Step 16: The lasagna should be covered with aluminum foil and baked for 30 minutes.

For an additional 15 minutes, remove the cover.

Step 17: Cool before serving.

If you're old enough, enjoy with a glass of red wine.
