Popsicle stick frames are fun to make.They make great crafts for children to make and give away as gifts.You can make your own popsicle stick picture frame with a little creativity.

Step 4: Use a pen to trace your frame onto your photo.
It is a good idea to use a photocopy instead of an original photo.
Step 5: The photo should be cut out.
Try to keep in mind the lines you drew.Your photo won't stick out from behind your frame if you use this method.
Step 6: The back of the frame has a photo on it.
It will make the photo permanent if you glue it.If you only tape the photo, you can change it out later.
Step 7: If you want to hang it, add a ribbon to the back of the frame.
A piece of ribbon is about 30 centimeters long.Place a drop of glue in the upper left and right corner of your frame.Glue the ends of the ribbon together.Hang your frame after you let the glue dry.
Step 8: If you glue 2 magnets to the back of your frame, you can put it in the fridge.
Place a drop of glue on the top and bottom of your frame.Wait for the glue to dry and press a magnet into it.The frame should be placed on the fridge.
Step 9: Finished.
Step 10: Place popsicle sticks side-by-side.
It's best to orient them horizontally.The base of your frame will be made from this.You don't need to glue them together.
Step 11: There are 8 popsicle sticks and 3 hot glue sticks on top of them.
The sticks should be Oriented vertically.The frame base needs to be Glued in the middle.The frame base should be Glued to the left and right sticks.The frame base will be held together by these sticks.
Step 12: Place a photo on top of your frame by flipping it over.
Place the photo in the center of the base, but do not glue it down.You will use the photo as a template.The top and bottom of the frame should be straight.The curved ends of the sticks create wavy edges on the sides of your frame.
Step 13: Attach hot glue to either side of the photo.
Make sure the glue goes from the bottom of the frame to the top.There is a small gap between the glue and the edge of the photo.This will prevent the glue from bleeding onto the photo.
Step 14: Press a stick onto the glue.
The sticks should be kept vertical.The photo should overlap the inner edge of the stick.The photo will be inside the frame.The photo will fall out if you do not overlap it.The photo can be removed at this point.
Step 15: Attach a stick to the frame base.
Put a drop of glue on each stick.Press the ends of the sticks into the glue if you lay a stick down horizontally.This is repeated for the bottom.
Step 16: Stack three sticks, one on top of the other, and secure them with glue.
Just like this one, make another one.The bottom of your frame will be made from these stacks.
Step 17: Attach each stack to the frame base.
The front of the frame will hold the picture in place.The frame will stand up straight when the other stack goes on the back.
Step 18: You can paint or decorate the frame.

Step 19: A photo can be taken through the top of the frame.
Pull the photo out and replace it with a new one.
Step 20: Paint your frame a solid color, let the paint dry, then paint smaller designs onto it.
The designs need contrasting colors to stand out.You could add green stripes to your frame by painting it red.You could add black spots to it by painting it white.
Step 21: Draw designs with puffy paint or glitter glue.
It can be done on a painted frame.If you are adding designs to a frame, make sure that the paint is completely dry.Simple designs such as hearts, starts, spirals, and squiggles are fun.
Step 22: To stamp small designs onto the frame, use a rubber stamp and an ink pad.
Make sure the stamp is small enough to fit on the frame.Small, simple designs will work best.This can be done on a frame.Stamp ink does not look good on paint.
Step 23: Attach items to the frame with hot glue or school glue.
