How To Make Savoury Muffins

Savoury muffins are a great treat to include in lunch boxes, take on picnics, "bring a plate" events or just to enjoy hot with soup and a little butter.You can make 12 or 6 jumbo.

Step 1: Your extra ingredients should be prepared.

This could be grating cheese, organizing herbs and spices.

Step 2: Grease or line a standard 12 muffin tray if you want to make 6 jumbo muffins.

Step 3: The basic muffin recipe can be made.

The wet and dry ingredients should be mixed in one bowl.The mix needs to be well combined.

Step 4: Add your extra ingredients to the mix.

Step 5: Add the wet mix to the dry mix and stir with a spoon or spatula.

It's better to have no huge lump at all, but a few small ones are fine.

Step 6: Add more milk if the mix is too stiff.

It should not look like a dough.Consistency can be affected by the extra ingredient variation.

Step 7: The batter should be spread evenly into the pans.

They should be 1/3 full.

Step 8: If you want to cook, bake until cooked and golden.

The muffins may need more than 25.

Step 9: Allow to cool off.

But they are just as warm.
