How To Make Slime Stretchy Again

There is a stretchy toy that can be played with. Some of the stretch can be lost over time.To make your slime stickier, stretchier and softer, simply knead in water or lotion until it reaches your desired consistency.Within 5 minutes, your slime will be back to its former glory.

Step 1: The top of the slime should have a squirt of lotion on it.

The table or bench top is a good place to place the lotion.Push the slime down so that it's flat and then put a squirt of lotion in the middle of it.There must be no clumps of dried out lotion. This method will work with any hand or body lotion.Don't use a body butter as they tend to be thicker. This method can be used on old or new slime to make it stretchier, softer, and stickier.

Step 2: The lotion should be put into the slime with your hands.

Push down on the slime if you want the lotion to be trapped in the middle.Push down on the slime until all the lotion is in it.The process of kneading the slime can be a bit messy if you don't take off any rings or bracelets. This could take up to 5 minutes if you have a large ball.

Step 3: Take the slime and see what you can find.

If the slime has reached its optimal level of stretchiness, you can stretch and squeeze it.If the slime is difficult to pull or snaps when stretched, this shows that it isn't hydrated.

Step 4: If necessary, add extra lotion to the slime.

Add another squirt of lotion to the centre of the slime if it isn't stretchy enough. The lotion should be kneaded into the slime to make it stretchy.Continue to mix it until you get the consistency you want. You should wipe the surface that you kneaded with a cloth and a surface cleaner. It will leave it nice and clean.

Step 5: The hot water should be put in a small bowl.

When the water is hot, run the tap.Put a small bowl of water on the bench. This can cause burns if you use very hot or boiling water. When using hot water, always ask for help from an adult. The bowl should be large enough to hold the slime.

Step 6: There is a bowl of water.

For about 10 seconds, place your ball of slime in the water. The slime has a chance to soak in some of the liquid.Take the slime out of the water and place it on a clean surface, such as a bench or table. If you don't have a ball to start with, use your hands to crush it.It will be easier to handle in the water with this.

Step 7: The water should be put into the slime.

Use the base of your hands to flatten the slime and then fold it in half. When all of the excess water has been absorbed into the slime, flatten it and fold it.The texture of the slime will become softer as you knead it.

Step 8: If necessary, add more water to the slime.

If the slime is hard to stretch and break, dunk it into warm water and knead it again.Continue this process until you reach your preferred level of stretchiness. If the water gets cold refill it with hot water.
