How To Make Your Own Air Freshener

Does your home smell old?Maybe you want to add a fresh scent to it?There are a few ways to make a simple air freshener.Some add scent to your home, while others help get rid of bad odors and leave a nice scent.

It will give off a pleasant scent.You can either cook the ingredients in your pot or transfer them to another heat source.Transfer the ingredients into a crock pot.If you want the ingredients to release their pleasant scent, leave the crock pot uncovered.It will be more subtle than simmering on the stove.The fondue pot will hold the ingredients.If your fondue pot uses candles, you will need to keep an eye on them.The candles burn for 3 to 4 hours.You can put the ingredients in a jar, mug, or small bowl and place it on top of a mug warmer or tea pot warmer.

Step 27: The room will get a nice smell from the water simmering.

As the water continues to heat, the ingredients you used will give off a pleasant smell.It may go into other rooms if the smell is strong.Don't leave your air freshener unattended!

Step 28: When the water level gets too low, add more hot water to the ingredients.

The water level will drop as the water continues to heat.Your ingredients will oxidize if it drops too low.You want to use hot water when you refill because you don't want the temperature to go up.

Step 29: You should never leave your air freshener unattended.

If you need to leave the house, turn your stove, crock pot, or warmers off, and extinguish any candles that you are using.Place the jar in the fridge.

Step 30: The air freshener can be used within two to three days.

It's best to keep it in a jar in the fridge.If the water starts to get murky, you should add a few slices of fruit or herb.
