How To Merge Cells on Google Sheets on iPhone or iPad

You can learn how to merge cells in a spreadsheet on the internet.The process of merging cells can be done with the tap of a button.

Step 1: Click on the sheets to open them.

The app has a green sheet of paper with a table on it.If you haven't done so already, download the app from the App Store and sign in with your account.

Step 2: The first cell should be merged.

A blue highlight will appear around the cell if you tap it.

Step 3: To merge it with another cell, drag the blue dots to select it.

To expand the selection, hold on to one of the blue dots around the cell.You can let go once you've selected all the cells you want to merge.

Step 4: Go to the "merge" button.

The button looks like a square with two arrows pointing in the opposite direction.On the iPad, it's at the top of the screen, while on the iPhone it is at its bottom.All the cells you have selected will be merged.To un-merge the cell, tap the "merge" button again after selecting the merged cell.
