You can learn how to stop your computer's microphone from playing.
Step 1: You can find the sound icon on the desktop.
The speaker icon in the lower-right corner of your desktop is what this button looks like.
Step 2: Click on the sound icon.
Your options will show up.
Step 3: On the right-click menu, click Recording Devices.
You can open your Sound settings in a new window, and then switch to the Recording tab.You can find a list of audio input devices here.
Step 4: Click the microphone on the list.
You can find your options on a new menu.
Step 5: On the right-click menu, choose disabling.
The microphone can be turned off and removed from the recording list.
Step 6: On the Recording list, click on the empty space.
This will show the options on the pop-up menu.
Step 7: Click to see if the devices are disabled.
Even though the microphone is disabled, you will be able to see it on the Recording list if this option is checked.Click here to turn your microphone back on.
