How To Overlay Pictures in Google Docs

You can use the built-in Google Drawing module or the wrap text feature to add pictures to your computer.You will not be able to find the drawings module in the mobile app, but you can change the text wrapping setting.

Step 1: Go to a website and open the document.

You can create a new document by clicking the green, red, blue, and yellow plus icon in the bottom right corner of your browser.

Step 2: Click to insert.

You can find it in the editing menu above your document space.

Step 3: Click New when you hover your mouse over the drawing.

A drawing window will open.

Step 4: Click the icon.

The last icon in the row looks like a small picture with mountains.The window that contains the insert image will open.

Step 5: Pick the first image that you want to use.

You can either drag to insert an image, click, use a URL, or perform an internet search.You can choose your picture and it will load in the drawing window.

Step 6: If you want to add a text overlay, click the T icon instead of the image icon.

You'll need to navigate to your second image when the insert image window opens again.Choose your second picture and it will load in the drawing window.

Step 7: Drag and drop, crop, and move your images.

You can change the order of an image by right-clicking it.If you want to see more editing options, click the three dots and use the tools in the menu.

Step 8: Click to save and close.

If you don't like the positioning of the edited image, you can drag and drop it into the document.Double-clicking it will open the drawing window again.

Step 9: Go to a website and open the document.

The green, red, blue, and yellow plus icon is located in the bottom right corner of your web browser if you want to create a new document.

Step 10: Click it to insert.

You can find it in the editing menu above the document space.

Step 11: Click on the image to choose from the menu.

If you have a computer with a camera, you can either choose to open your camera from your, or from the uploaded images.

Step 12: Take your pictures.

If both images are in the same place, you can save time by selecting them both to insert into the Doc.You need to repeat this step twice if they are in different locations.

Step 13: Click the image to select it, then click the All image options.

The menu will pop up from the three dots when you see this icon near the bottom of your image.You can see the image options in a panel on the right side of your browser.

Step 14: Click Wrap to wrap the text.

The text wrapping will expand once you click on it.The blue block in the middle of the writing indicates the wrap text tile.There are more options under the image in your Doc when you choose the wrap type.Select from the drop-box.

Step 15: The margins should be changed to 0 for the second image.

If you click the second icon from the left in the menu that appears under the image, you can change the text wrapping.

Step 16: Drag and drop, crop, and move your images.

You can change the order of an image by right-clicking it.
