There is a fun variant of Solitaire called Clock Patience.Like other versions of Solitaire, Clock Patience is played by one player with only one deck of cards.Winning comes down to complete chance, and it requires almost no strategy.If you want to play Clock Patience, you have to deal your cards, play through the deck, and learn how to win the game.
Step 1: Take a break.
The standard set of cards will work for this game, so get a deck at the store or find one around the house.If you don't count out your cards, you will not be able to win.Get ready to deal.If you have an internet connection, consider playing online.
Step 2: There is a large, flat surface.
A game of Solitaire requires a lot of space.To play on a large flat surface, look for a desk or a table.If you need more space, clock patience can be played on the floor.
Step 3: The cards should be dealt first.
The cards are arranged in piles of four in a circle and the game is called Clock Patience.One pile for 12 o'clock is one of the 12 piles that take the position of a number on the clock.Each pile has four cards if you deal the cards face down.
Step 4: The rest of the stack should be in the middle.
Four cards are left after you deal four cards into their 12 piles.They put their 13th stack in the middle of the circle.
Step 5: You can play the first card.
The 13th pile has four cards and one of them must be put on top of the stack.Look at the face of the card.Where the card goes depends on the number or face.
Step 6: The card should be moved to its pile.
When the 1 o'clock position is reached, cards are placed in the pile associated with their number.The Jacks and Queens should be placed in the 11 and 12 o'clock piles.Kings will be placed in a pile.Under the stack it belongs in, slide the card face up when you find the correct pile.
Step 7: The next card should be turned over.
The top card of the pile should be turned over.Your next card is this.Place the card in a pile.A 7 of diamonds would go into the bottom of the pile.The Queen of spades would face down at the bottom of the pile.
Step 8: Continue to play cards.
For each card that you place in the correct pile, flip over the next card from that pile and play it.If you want to play clock patience, try to place the cards as quickly as you can.Continue playing until there are no cards to flip over.
Step 9: Win if you turn over all the cards.
If you play your last card and see that all of the cards have been placed into their piles, you win.All Jacks will be in the 11 o'clock pile, the four Kings will all be at the middle pile.You can play another hand by rearranging your cards.
Step 10: Lose if you don't turn over all the cards.
If you expose all four kings but other cards are still facedown, you lose the game.Don't be frustrated, clock patience is a game of chance.Try again with your cards.
Step 11: Don't fret about strategy.
Strategy doesn't factor into Clock Patience.The order of the cards is affected by the order in which they're dealt.The exact number of piles you dealt gives you a 1 in 13 chance of winning.
