Downloads can hog your free space if they start to pile up.You can save a lot of space if you clear out your downloaded files regularly.Depending on the operating system you are using, the process for deletion of files varies.
Step 1: You can open your Downloads folder.
The easiest way to access this is by pressing the Windows key + E and selecting the folder.
Step 2: You can find the file that you want to destroy.

Step 6: I can't HKEY the file.
It is possible that the file is in use by another program and that Windows won't let you remove it.If you downloaded the file through BitTorrent, or have already opened it in another program, this is the case.Try again if you can't get the file to open.If you can't get rid of the file, click here.
Step 7: Go to your Downloads folder.
The Downloads folder can be found in the sidebar of any Finder window.Most apps will download files to this location.You will want to check the location you specified if you have changed the download location in your app.Click your desktop, and then click "Go" to download.

Step 13: I can't HKEY the file.

Step 15: Go to your Downloads folder.

Step 16: Hold the file you want to destroy.
