How To Remove Ink Stains from a Purse Lining

If you keep a pen in your purse, it's a good idea to mark the inside of your bag.You can remove ink stains from your purse lining without having it professionally cleaned.There are some things you can do to get the ink out yourself.

Step 1: The lining of the purse needs to be turned out as much as possible.

Step 2: Place several layers of paper towels or a clean cloth under the part of the lining.

Step 3: There is a spray on the ink spot.

If the lining of the purse does not pull out as much as you would like, you can spray the spray on a Q-tip and rub the stain with it.

Step 4: You can use a dry cloth or paper towels.

Step 5: Place a sponge, Q-tip or cloth in the water.

Step 6: When the ink stain is gone, repeat the process.

In order to get the stain off completely, you may have to do the process several times.

Step 7: The purse lining should be dry.

Step 8: The lining of the purse should be turned out as much as possible.

Step 9: Rub alcohol on a cotton ball.

Step 10: Rub the cotton ball over the stain.

If the ink stain is not going to go away, you can saturate it in alcohol for 30 minutes.

Step 11: Blot the spot with a sponge, paper towel or cloth.

Step 12: Continue until the ink stain is gone.

Step 13: The purse lining should be dry.

Step 14: The lining of the purse should be turned out as much as possible.

Step 15: A small amount of dish washing liquid or laundry detergent can be put into a dish.

Step 16: The detergent should be rubbed at the ink stain.

Step 17: After blotting the spot, dip another cloth in the water.

Step 18: Continue until the ink stain is gone.

Step 19: The purse lining should be dry.
