There are sponsored advertisements in the free version of uTorrent.These ads can slow down slower computers.You may be aware that you can upgrade to an ad-free version, but you may not know that ads can be disabled in the Preferences menu.If you want to upgrade to an ad-free version of uTorrent, you have to adjust some settings.
Step 1: The application can be opened.
There is a white "u" with a green icon.You can turn off the ads in the Preferences menu of the free version of uTorrent.The developer can give a free version of the program without losing money.You can upgrade to the ad-free version of uTorrent if you want to thank the developers.It costs $5 a year.There are a few links from the company that owns uTorrent in the menu panel of the free version.There is no way to get rid of them.They will not display ads if you don't click on them.

It is in the long list on the Advanced menu.One way to find this option is to type "gui.show_plus_upsell" into the field next to "Filter" in the upper-right corner.You can find this option from the search results.To find "gui.show_plus_upsell", scroll down the list of options in the Advanced menu.The options are sorted by order.
Step 6: Next to "Value", choose "False".
When you clicked "gui.show_plus_upsell", two radio buttons labeled with "True" and "False" appeared below the box with all the advanced options.The ad at the bottom left corner of uTorrent will be disabled if you click the button next to false.Don't set it to "False" if you accidentally select the wrong option.It's possible that making changes to the wrong options will make uTorrent not work correctly.
Step 7: Click if you want to highlight "offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled."
There are options in the Advanced menu.Just like with the previous option, you can find it using the "Filter" search field or by searching all the advanced options alphabetically.
Step 8: Next to "False" is the radio option.
To turn off the option, click the radio option next to "Value".
Step 9: These additional options can be set to false.
To set the values to false, you will need to locate and select all of the options.All of these are listed in the Advanced Options menu.Check to be sure, some may already be set to "False".Click the option if they aren't set to false.The following options need to be set to false.
Step 10: Click OK if you don't want to.
The changes you have made are saved.If you did not find any of the above options in Advanced Options, don't worry, they can be changed.Return to the Advanced Options screen and type in the offer.All of them should be set to false.
Step 11: It is a good idea to close uTorrent.
If you want your changes to take effect, restart uTorrent.The following steps are used to close uTorrent.Click.
Step 12: It's possible to open uTorrent.
The ads should be disabled.There are a few links from the company that owns uTorrent in the menu bar to the left.If you do not click on the ads, you will not see any ads from these sponsors.
Step 13: The application can be opened.

Step 16: Your name and address will be entered.
When you click "Buy Now", you will be directed to a website where you can fill out a form.Use the boxes at the top of the form on the right to enter your email address, first and last name, as well as a postal zip code and a country and state for where you live.Click here if you are a business.At the top, enter your business name.
Step 17: You can choose a payment option.
Click the box below if you want to pay with a credit or debit card.Click if you want to pay with a credit card.
Step 18: You can enter your credit card information.
If you are paying with a credit or debit card, use the boxes to enter the card number, expiration date, and security code.When your order is processed, you will be directed to the PayPal login webpage.
Step 19: Click here to buy.
There is an option at the bottom of the page.This takes your order.You will be upgraded to an ad-free version after your order is processed.
Step 20: Go to your account and log in.
If you are paying with a PayPal account, you need to enter the email address and password.Your payment will be deducted from your account.You will be upgraded to an ad-free version once your order has been processed.
