Dust and dirt can get stuck in between the sole and the bottom of your shoe.Let your shoe dry completely after cleaning it.If there is old glue stuck to the bottom of your shoe, you can use a rag and acetone nail polish remover to remove it.

Step 2: The bottom of your shoe should be scratched with a piece of paper.

You can use a coarse sandpaper. The glue will stick to the scratches.

Step 3: Put shoe repair glue on the exposed bottom of your shoe.

The glue should be applied with a 1 centimetre round paint brush. There is an even layer of glue over the entire top of the loose sole and the exposed bottom of your shoe.At your local shoe store you can find shoe repair glue. You should read the label on the shoe repair glue.Allow the shoe repair glue to dry for 5 minutes after you apply them.

Step 4: Put the sole into the bottom of the shoe.

Hit the hammer on the area of the sole you are attaching when you turn your shoe upside down.Hit the bottom of the sole several times with the hammer in order to get the entire section.

Step 5: The sole needs to be held in place for 24 hours.

If you need to attach a large section of the sole, use more than one clamp.Attach the clamp to your shoe so that one end is pressing down on the top of the shoe and the other ends are pressing up.

Step 6: The shoe should be removed after 24 hours.

Pull at the edges of the sole with your fingers to make sure it's not completely glue to the bottom of your shoe.Your shoe is ready to wear if the sole doesn't budge.

Step 7: You can clean the hole in your shoe with a wet rag.

Dust and dirt can be found near the hole.To dry the area around the hole, use a dry rag or paper towel. It works best for holes in the soles of shoes. If you want to repair a hole in the top of your shoe, keep in mind the hole will still be visible even after you fill it in.

Step 8: The area around the hole can be scratched with 120-grit sandpaper.

Rub the coarse side of the sandpaper over the hole until it starts to scratch. The scratches on the sole will help stick to the shoe.

Step 9: Put a piece of duct tape over the hole after removing the insoles.

There is a piece of duct tape large enough to cover the entire hole. You should put duct tape on the inside of your shoe. When applying duct tape to your shoe, make sure it doesn't get inside.

When it dries, Shoe Goo is a thick, clear glue.Slowly move the tube across the hole as the shoe comes out.Once the entire hole is covered, stop squeezing. You can find a tube at your local shopping center.

Step 11: An ice cube can be used to spread the Shoe Goo over the hole.

Shoe Goo does not stick to ice.If you missed any spots, use the ice cube to cover them. The ice cube should be spread over the hole, even if it is in a flat state.

The Shoe Goo may not adhere properly if the drying process is hurried. It's a good idea to put your shoe in a safe spot for 24 hours.

Step 13: Sand down the shoe.

If you want the Shoe Goo to flush with the rest of your shoe sole, you need to brush the sandpaper back and forth. If there are any bumps in the shoe, make sure you can feel them when you walk in it.

Don't use the pencil eraser if it has never been used before.Place the eraser on the mark on your shoe and rub it back and forth until it's gone.
